Stain and Varnish combination products have long been a favorite for changing the color of an item whilst giving it the protection of polyurethane. Based on on our very popular varnish formulation, Norski have now developed Polystain, our version of a stain and varnish in one can.
This product is designed for coating furniture, however with a coat of our Norski Clear Varnish over the top, this coating product is incredibly durable.
Our 6 Kiwi colors; Rimu, Kauri, Mahogany, Oak, Blackbean and Charcoal are available right now for delivery in 500ml and 1L sizes.
As displayed on the label, its a 3 coat system and varying depths of colour can be achieved by adding fewer or more coats. If applying less than three coats then its best to build the coats to three by overcoating with Norski Clear Polyurethane Varnish.
The product range is supplied in Satin, if you prefer a glossier finish, then a coat of 'Norski Clear Polyurethane Gloss' will achieve your desired finish.
The product needs to cure at a temperature that is above 10 degrees Celcius, if its under this temperature then you will need to wait until the temperature climbs above this threshold.
